Salary: MPS/UPS £25,714 to £41,604

Maintenance and Site Assistant Required

Term-Time Hours: 8-9am and 3.30-6.30pm Wednesday and Friday

Additional term-time and holiday hours available - to be arranged as required

Salary – £9.25 an hour (Salary Grade B)

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a Maintenance and Site Assistant to complete minor repair works throughout the school. The role includes acting as a key-holder to allow contractor access in school holidays and completing a range of weekly tasks to help keep the school site in good order.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of carrying out minor maintenance tasks.
  • Understand child protection and prioritise pupil safety and well-being.
  • Establish positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
  • Have good communication skills.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will be required to provide satisfactory references.
